Another Cookie Recipe

Hey, guys. If it seems like I have been a little distant online, it’s because I have been. My daughter’s musical is this weekend and — in the last few weeks — between that and her track practices (and my husband is coaching, too), it feels like our whole household is busy, busy, busy. I have never been one to thrive on so much activity. All the coming and going and changes to routine, well, it overwhelms me, making me wish I was a turtle with a comfortable shell to hide myself inside.

I find myself alternating between days of extreme productivity (wake up early, do loads of laundry and dishes, make dinner and exercise all and then showering and doing makeup/hair before work) and days of crippling fatigue (wake up late, toss snacks into backpacks as the bus is arriving, dry shampoo before work and quick mascara, losing my keys and freaking out, etc.). I used to think this was a feature of post-concussion syndrome and running out of spoons. However, I’ve kinda, sorta always been this way.

I wanted to pop on here today to share a cookie recipe.

I know. It’s another cookie recipe. But cookies are my dessert of choice. They’re quick to throw together. They freeze well (see below). And they’re a real crowd-pleaser. I keep playing with my favorite recipes to tweak them to perfection. This one has become a new favorite along the way.
